Mountway School of Dancing was established in 1936 by Miss Marjorie Newman and has been running successfully since, teaching RAD Ballet and ISTD Tap and Modern/Jazz with additional free work classes to all ages from 3 to adult.
Verity Snell is the third principal in running the School following the fine footsteps of Miss Lesley Gray, teaching generations, entering students for Examinations termly and developing and performing a School show bi-annually.
Miss Verity also leads an annual Summer School for all ages, along with workshops throughout the year.
Enrollment
There is no Enrollment fee at Mountway School of Dancing. Just arrange to come along to a free trial lesson before enrolling.
So put on your dancing shoes and try some Modern, Tap and Classical Ballet.
All Classical Ballet is danced to a live pianist (Miss Caroline Chew) both in class and during examinations.
