All uniforms for Ballet can be purchased through ‘My Dance Store’ or Taunton Uniforms on East Reach. Please DO NOT buy from Sainsburys-they do not sell our regulated ballet uniform (Royal Academy of Dance).

RAD Ballet

Pre Primary/Primary

• Kate Leotard (cap sleeved), Pink
• Georgette Crossover Skirt, Pink
• Pink Ballet Socks
• Pink Leather Ballet Shoes
• Pink acrylic/cotton crossover Cardigan

Grade 1/2

• Kate Leotard (cap sleeved), Pale Pink with belt (Belts available to buy through Miss Verity at £2.00 if you don’t have one)
• Pink Ballet Socks
• Pink Leather Ballet Shoes NO SATIN BALLET SHOES.
• Pale Pink acrylic/cotton crossover Cardigan
• Black Low Heel Character Shoes
• Black Character Skirt (Made to order through Miss Verity ONLY) pink, lilac and mulberry ribbon.

Grades 3/4/5

• Anne Leotard, Mulberry (with rouche in centre of the chest)
• Mulberry belt (can be purchased through Miss Verity for £2.00 if you don’t have one)
• Pink Debut Ballet Tights
• Pink  Leather Ballet Shoes (Split Sole Ballet shoes may be worn from Grade 5) NO SATIN BALLET SHOES.
• Mulberry acrylic/cotton crossover Cardigan
• Black Cuban Heel Character Shoes
• Character Skirt as above

Higher Grades 6/7/8

• Capezio Burgundy Double Strap Leotard
• RAD Approved Circular Chiffon Skirt, Burgundy
• Pink Debut Ballet Tights
• Pink Ballet Shoes (Optional split sole leather ballet shoes may be worn). NO SATIN BALLET SHOES!!!
• Character Skirt and Shoes as in Grades 3-5

Character Skirts are made to measure, with our school colour ribbons and ordered only through Miss Verity. Character Skirts made to order are payable to ‘T . Chorley’ at £18.00

Vocational Ballet (Inter Foundation-Advanced 2)

• Split sole leather ballet shoes with ribbons (soft block ballet shoes from Intermediate and above, see below)
• Debut ballet tights
• RAD approved Grace Leotard in black
• Pointe shoes (see below)

Pointe shoes/soft block ballet shoes

Pointe shoes and soft block ballet shoes are to be fitted professionally. The nearest and best suppliers are:

Modern catsuits are ordered through Miss Verity only. Everything else can be ordered through My Dance Store’.

Primary-Grade 3

• Ballet or  Black Jazz shoes, full sole.

Grade 4-Advanced

• Susie Biketard (as above)
• Ballet or  Black Lace up Jazz Shoes (for full sole Jazz shoes recommended until Grade 5 level where after split sole Jazz shoes may be worn)

Boys

• Mountway Logo Teal Blue T-shirt (through Imprints, Taunton)
• Navy Shorts
• Black jazz shoes

All uniform which needs to be ordered through Miss Verity is separate to the school fees and is to be made payable to ‘Verity Teal’.
